नई दिल्ली. एनडीएमसी के अध्यक्ष श्री केशव चंद्रा ने आज अटल आदर्श विद्यालय और नवयुग स्कूलों के 9वीं से 12वीं कक्षा में पढ़ने वाले 7000 से अधिक छात्रों को सहायता प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से पहला करियर मार्गदर्शन परामर्श कार्यक्रम शुरू किया। इस कार्यक्रम का संचालन “आसमान फाउंडेशन” और “आईड्रीम करियर” द्वारा किया जाएगा । 

इस कार्यक्रम के तहत छात्रों को एक साइकोमेट्रिक मूल्यांकन परीक्षण से गुजरना होगा, जिसके बाद काउंसलिंग टीम द्वारा व्यक्तिगत मार्गदर्शन दिया जाएगा, ताकि छात्रों को उनकी रुचियों, व्यक्तित्व और योग्यता के स्तर के अनुसार उनके करियर की यात्रा के लिए उपलब्ध विभिन्न करियर विकल्पों का चयन करने में मदद मिल सके। प्रत्येक छात्र को 16-पृष्ठों की विश्लेषण रिपोर्ट और 560+ करियर, 1000+ परीक्षाएं और छात्रवृत्ति, 25000+ कॉलेजों की अच्छी तरह से शोध की गई सामग्री वाला एक सूचना पोर्टल प्रदान किया जाएगा।

New Delhi. The CSIR-National Physical Laboratory (CSIR-NPL), New Delhi, marked its 79th Foundation Day with a grand celebration, emphasizing its legacy of scientific excellence and national contribution. Established under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), CSIR-NPL continues to lead as the National Metrology Institute (NMI) of India.

A Legacy of Precision and National Service

The foundation stone of CSIR-NPL was laid by India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, on 4th January 1947. Over the decades, the institute has been at the forefront of developing, maintaining, and disseminating national standards for measurements, playing a crucial role in scientific advancement and nation-building.

Celebratory Event Highlights

The 79th Foundation Day event was graced by Prof. Veezhinathan Kamakoti, Director of Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai, as the Chief Guest. Prof. Venugopal Achanta, Director of CSIR-NPL, delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing the laboratory’s pioneering achievements in metrology, research, and technology development.

Prof. Achanta highlighted the organization’s increasing visibility on national and international platforms, with its staff actively contributing to Asia Pacific Metrology Program (APMP) technical committees. He further encouraged leadership participation in global scientific forums.

Keynote Lecture on Metrology and India’s Technological Future

The event featured a thought-provoking lecture by Prof. Kamakoti titled “Glancing into Metrology”, where he explored the strategic importance of metrology in achieving the Government of India’s VIKSIT BHARAT mission. He stressed the significance of quantum physical standards, quantum metrology, and semiconductor manufacturing in India’s technological progress.

Prof. Kamakoti elaborated on how quantum technologies like quantum computing, communication, and quantum key distribution can position India as a global technology superpower. He also highlighted opportunities and challenges in R&D, particularly in the certification and characterization of quantum technologies and semiconductors.

He emphasized the need for collaborations between CSIR-NPL and IIT Madras for the indigenous development of semiconductors and quantum technologies.

Signing of Key MoUs and Launch of New Standards

As part of the celebrations, CSIR-NPL signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs):

• IIT Madras: For academic and research collaborations.
• CSIR-CIMAP: For the production of Bharatiya Nirdeshak Dravya (BND), or Certified Reference Materials in the domain of plant-based materials.

Additionally, CSIR-NPL launched two significant new BNDs (Certified Reference Materials):

1. Lanthanum Hexaboride Powder (BND-2025): Designed for line position and line shape calibration standards for powder X-ray diffraction. This standard was developed by a team from CSIR-NPL.
2. White Portland Cement Standard (BND-5064): Developed in collaboration with National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCCBM), a reference material producer under the Government of India.

These standards aim to improve the accuracy and reliability of scientific measurements across industries and research sectors.

The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. S. R. Dhakate, Chief Scientist at CSIR-NPL, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, collaborators, and attendees.

Noida, Uttar Pradesh – In a disturbing incident that has left the community in shock, a hidden camera was discovered inside the washroom of a play school located in Sector 70. The discovery, made by a vigilant teacher, has raised serious concerns about privacy and safety within educational institutions. Police investigations have led to the arrest of the school’s manager, Navneet Sahay, who admitted to installing the camera under dubious circumstances.

Unfolding the Incident: A Teacher’s Observations Spark an Investigation

The incident came to light when a female teacher at the play school, aptly named ‘Learn with Fun Play,’ noticed something unusual inside the washroom. A holder mounted on the wall caught her attention, as it emitted faint lights that seemed out of place. Initially brushing it off, the teacher’s instincts soon led her to take a closer look. Upon examining the holder, she discovered that it contained a hidden camera.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, the teacher immediately alerted the school’s watchman and proceeded to inform the local police. Law enforcement officials quickly arrived on the scene and conducted a preliminary investigation, confirming the presence of the camera. This alarming revelation prompted the police to take swift action, placing Navneet Sahay, the school’s manager, into custody.

Manager’s Confession: Hidden Camera Installed Twice

During police questioning, Navneet Sahay initially denied any knowledge of the camera. However, under scrutiny, he confessed to purchasing and installing the device approximately 20 days prior. Shockingly, this was not the first time the camera had been placed in the washroom. According to statements from the same teacher who discovered the device, she had previously complained about a similar camera, which was subsequently removed following her protest.

Despite the initial removal, the camera reappeared weeks later, raising questions about the manager’s motives and intentions. The teacher, determined to put an end to this violation, captured evidence and directly contacted the authorities, leading to Sahay’s arrest.

Details of the Camera: Online Purchase Raises Eyebrows

Navneet Sahay revealed that the hidden camera was purchased online for Rs. 2,200. He claimed that the device lacked a memory card and was only capable of live streaming. While the absence of recording functionality slightly mitigates the potential for long-term harm, the incident underscores a chilling disregard for privacy and ethical conduct.

Public Outrage and Legal Ramifications

The discovery of the hidden camera has sparked widespread outrage, with parents, educators, and activists voicing their concerns over the safety of children in schools. Social media platforms have been abuzz with discussions, with many calling for stricter regulations and increased vigilance to prevent such incidents in the future.

In response, Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Shakti Avasthi assured the public that a thorough investigation is underway. “The matter is being handled with utmost seriousness. Appropriate legal action will be taken based on the evidence collected during the investigation,” Avasthi stated.

The UP Government’s recent decision to mandate the registration of builder-buyer agreements upon payment of 10% of the flat’s price has sparked significant concern among buyers and developers. Homebuyers have to pay some percentage of the property’s value as stamp duty to get it registered in the government’s records. They also have to pay 1% of the property value as the registration charge for completing the paperwork in Noida and Greater Noida. This approach contrasts with practices in other states, where the agreement to sale typically involves a nominal stamp paper fee between Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000.

Currently, buyers and builders enter into an initial agreement on a ₹100 stamp paper, and the Authority enters the scene only after the developer has obtained an occupancy certificate and completion certificate for the project. 

Experts say that the move is aimed at safeguarding flat buyers and enhancing revenue collection through stamp duty. The tripartite agreement will include property details, the total cost, payment terms, and the possession date. However, industry leaders express the implications of this mandate, explaining how it affects both homebuyers and the broader real estate market. 

Manoj Gaur, CMD of Gaurs Group and Chairman of CREDAI National, says, “This would not be a favourable practice, as it imposes an unnecessary financial burden on buyers, who already have to arrange a significant amount at the time of booking. In other states, the sale agreement is processed on a nominal stamp paper valued between Rs 1,000 and Rs 10,000, which is not the case here. The proposed 1% non-refundable registration fee that is part of the provision is also a direct loss for buyers. The lack of clarity on the refund policy in case of cancellation adds to the unease. 6% of the builder-buyer cost in stamp duty at the agreement signing stage is a big amount. Typically, 15-20% of bookings in any project are cancelled due to various reasons, which is also mandated by RERA. However, the new rule will cause a huge dent in finance for buyers seeking to cancel their booking as they are already burdened by unforeseen circumstances. The sector is of the view that the present provision would significantly deter the sector in Noida, Greater Noida, Yamuna Expressway, and, in fact, the entire state, where real estate has emerged as a prominent part of the state economy. Therefore, we believe this provision should not be considered as it will impede the growth of the state’s real estate sector.”

Sanjay Sharma, Director, SKA Group, says, “We believe this new mandate by Noida-Greater Noida authorities may create a significant financial strain for homebuyers in Uttar Pradesh. Paying a 6% stamp duty to the government at the agreement signing stage adds to the already high initial costs that buyers face when booking a property. This makes homebuying harder and more expensive for buyers, especially those in the middle-income bracket. With substantial costs already involved in securing a home, this additional burden is likely to discourage potential buyers. Further, the imposition may also affect PM Modi’s vision of Housing for all segments, which addresses the longstanding housing needs of buyers by providing them with safe, secure, and quality housing. Thus, we look forward to the authorities reconsidering this decision, as it could stifle growth in the real estate sector and limit homeownership opportunities for many.”

Under the old norms, the buyers sign an unregistered agreement to sale with the developer for a unit without payment of any stamp duty over the total cost of the builder-buyer agreement. They pay 5% of the total property cost as stamp duty charges when the flat is ready to move and the registry is executed. 

Neeraj Sharma, Managing Director, Escon Infra Realtors, says, “The recent stamp duty imposition on sale agreements could have a stifling effect on real estate transactions. Buyers are already burdened with substantial costs at the time of booking. Buyers require flexibility and clarity in their transactions, and this imposition may bring additional financial pressure and deter them from going forward with purchases. In light of these concerns, we respectfully urge that the government reconsider making this provision applicable within Uttar Pradesh’s real estate sector.”

Mr. Jitendra Goyal, Sales Director, Trisol RED, says, “The financial burden of this policy is likely to make homeownership unattainable for a large segment of the population, thereby hindering the dreams of many families to own a home. Many middle-class families, especially first-time homebuyers, could be priced out of the market by the 6% stamp duty imposed at the initial stage of property transactions. With the Noida, Greater Noida, and Yamuna Expressway regions experiencing a robust surge in sales, we believe this policy may act as a major deterrent to potential buyers. Simplifying procedures and reducing costs would encourage more buyers to enter the market, ultimately benefiting the sector as a whole.”

दिल्ली। पूर्वी दिल्ली के पाँचवे पुश्ते पर चल रही श्री रघुनंदन रामलीला में लंका दहन और सुग्रीव मित्रता की आकर्षक लीला का आयोजन किया गया। श्री राम की भूमिका में करन ने दर्शकों को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया, वहीं हनुमान जी की भूमिका में रोहन शर्मा का प्रदर्शन लाजवाब रहा। लक्ष्मण का किरदार तन्नू ने निभाया, जबकि सीता के रूप में पूजा ने अपनी भूमिका को प्रभावी ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया। रावण के पात्र को अरुण भट्ट ने अपनी अदाकारी से जीवंत कर दिखाया, और सुग्रीव के रूप में राम अवतार, मेघनाद में शुभम व अक्षय कुमार में रवि ने अपनी कला से सबका दिल जीत लिया।

इस लीला के निर्देशक मुकेश गुप्ता ने प्रत्येक दृश्य को बेहद सजीवता के साथ दर्शकों के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया। दृश्य निर्देशक सुमित ने तकनीकी सहारे से हनुमान जी को आकाश में उड़ाने का अद्भुत दृश्य रचा, जिसने सभी को आश्चर्यचकित कर दिया।

हनुमान जी के पहले प्रवेश से ही मंच पर रोमांच का माहौल बन गया। उनके श्री राम से मिलन, माँ सीता की खोज, अशोक वाटिका का विध्वंस, अक्षय कुमार का वध और अंत में लंका दहन जैसे प्रमुख दृश्यों ने उपस्थित लोगों को रोमांचित कर दिया। पूरा वातावरण जय श्री राम के जयकारों से गूंज उठा।

कार्यक्रम में कमेटी के चेयरमैन राकेश वशिष्ठ, अध्यक्ष रमाकांत शर्मा, महामंत्री अमित गोस्वामी, कोषाध्यक्ष गजेंद्र पाल सिंह और अन्य पदाधिकारियों ने उपस्थिति दर्ज कराई। उन्होंने इस रामलीला को संस्कृति और धार्मिक मान्यताओं का महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा बताया और इसे अधर्म पर धर्म की जीत का प्रतीक करार दिया।

Noida. As previous years, the 9th Grand Kawad Seva Camp was organized at the roundabout in Noida Sector 62. The camp was inaugurated by Captain Vikas Gupta, Chairman of the Agricultural Research Council and Minister of State in the Uttar Pradesh government, by offering flowers, garlands, and lighting a lamp in front of the idol of the Shiva family. During the event, Minister of State Captain Vikas Gupta interacted with the kawadiyas (pilgrims) about their journey and distributed sweets and fruits. BK Sharma Hanuman, President of the World Brahmarishi Brahmin Mahasabha, also distributed sweets and fruits to the kawadiyas.

The Kawad Seva Camp was primarily organized by Pradeep Mishra (Editor, SVN News), Nishant Sharma (Managing Editor, Dainik Sarokar), and Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal Noida. This camp is held annually during the month of Sawan. The camp provides 24-hour food service, tents for accommodation, clean drinking water, doctors, and medicines to handle any emergencies. The Kawad Yatra is an important festival in Hinduism during which devotees of Lord Shiva carry water from the Ganges River to their temples to offer to Lord Shiva.

Bengaluru, July 26: In a significant development, the Karnataka cabinet has given its nod to renaming Ramanagara district as Bengaluru South. The decision comes after a proposal was submitted by a delegation of district leaders led by Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar.

Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister H.K. Patil made the official announcement, stating that the cabinet had approved the change. The move aims to boost development and growth in the region, leveraging Bengaluru’s global brand.

Shivakumar had earlier expressed the need to rename the district, highlighting the historical and geographical connection between Bengaluru and the region. He believes that the rechristening will attract investments, increase property values, and bring the area under the umbrella of Bengaluru’s development.

The renaming will encompass Ramanagara, Channapatna, Magadi, Harohalli, and Kanakapura taluks, which will now be part of Bengaluru South district. However, it’s important to note that this is a name change and will not alter administrative boundaries.
