Elvish Yadav’s Haryanvi Hunters Outclass Mumbai Disruptors in a Nail-Biting Finish to Face Lucknow Lions in the ECL T10 Finals

In a thrilling Qualifier 2 clash of the inaugural season of Entertainers Cricket League T102024, Haryanvi Hunters booked their spot in the finals after a dramatic 15-run victory over Mumbai Disruptors at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium. Captain Elvish Yadav led from the front with a blistering start, while Kashish Pundhir’s stunning bowling spell sealed Mumbai’s fate. Haryanvi Hunters opted to bat first after winning the toss, and Elvish Yadav (32 off 14) wasted no time smashing five sixes to give his side a fiery start. Alongside Keshav Chaudhary, they posted 43 runs for the first wicket. Elvish’s departure in the fourth over, followed by Anujj Chaudhary’s quick dismissal, left Hunters at 47-2. However, Keshav (48 off 13) continued his form, building crucial partnerships with Lalit Yadav (17 off 6) and Rohit Lamba (36 off 7).

Rohit and Rajat Dalal (26 off 11) steadied the innings further, with Haryanvi Hunters posting a competitive total of 185/9 in their 10 overs. Suyyash Rai and Anuj Khurana shone with the ball for Mumbai, taking 3 and 2 wickets, respectively, to keep the Hunters in check.

Chasing 186, Mumbai Disruptors suffered an early blow as Kashish Pundhir’s fiery second over claimed three wickets, reducing them to 27-3. While opener Samarth Jurel (85 off 27) held his ground and anchored the innings, the loss of wickets at regular intervals put Mumbai under immense pressure.

Mudasar Bhat (25 off 7) provided a brief glimmer of hope with four massive sixes, but his dismissal left Mumbai in deep trouble at 75-5. Samarth and Anuj Khurana (38 off 13) then launched a spirited fightback, adding 91 runs for the sixth wicket to take the match down to the wire.

With 20 runs needed in the final over, Haryanvi Hunters’ Keshav Chaudhary (KutKut) bowled a brilliant last over, conceding just 4 runs and guiding his team to a thrilling 15-run victory. Mumbai Disruptors fell short, finishing at 170/7 in their 10 overs.
