This year, Ayodhya's Ramleela will appear in a new form with many new artists

Mumbai. Bhagyashree will be seen in the role of Vedvati, and Bindu Dara Singh will play the role of Lord Shankar. Ved Sagar will portray Lord Ram, and Mangisha will take on the role of Mother Sita in Ayodhya's Ramleela.

Addressing a press conference in Mumbai today, the founder-president of Ayodhya's Ramleela Subhash Malik and the general secretary Shubham Malik announced that Ayodhya's Ramleela will be broadcast live on Doordarshan from October 1 to October 12, directly from the birthplace of Lord Ram.

Subhash Malik (Bobby), the president of the world's largest Ramleela, and Shubham Malik, the general secretary, shared that renowned Bollywood actress Bhagyashree will be seen as Vedmati. Ved Sagar will portray Lord Ram, and Mangisha will play Mother Sita. Bhagyashree has previously played the roles of Mother Sita and Mother Shabari. Every year, Bhagyashree comes to Ayodhya to have a darshan of Lord Ram. Famous actress Mangisha will portray Mother Sita. Bindu Dara Singh, who has played Lord Hanuman for many years in Ayodhya's Ramleela, will be seen as Lord Shankar. Raza Murad will play King Dasharath, and Rakesh Bedi will play King Janak. Well-known Bollywood actor Manish Sharma will play the role of Ravan.

Famous actress Sheeba, who has worked with major stars like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, will also be part of the cast. This is the world's first Ramleela featuring such a large number of prominent artists. Ayodhya's Ramleela, the world's largest Ramleela, has been praised by the Honorable Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath.

Many dignitaries from India and abroad, as well as numerous saints, will come to witness Ayodhya's Ramleela at the birthplace of Lord Ram. Last year, over 360 million devotees watched Ayodhya's Ramleela. This year, our goal is to reach over 500 million devotees. We thank all the journalists for their important role in Ayodhya's Ramleela. We started Ayodhya's Ramleela during the COVID-19 pandemic when no other Ramleela was being held, and it began at the birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. Watching Ayodhya's Ramleela gives us the feeling that God has descended on Earth.
